Slippery conditions are a factor in accident

On Saturday, Jan. 3, Crawford County roads had scattered slippery spots.

At 8:45 a.m., the Sheriff’s Department was notified of a one-vehicle accident in Eastman Township on Prew Hill approximately 1/4 mile north of County Road D.

A 2005 Chrysler van owned by David Skemp Jr. and operated by Olivia Skemp, 19, of rural Eastman, was southbound on Prew Hill when control was lost.

The vehicle left the east side of the road and came to rest against a tree.

There were no injuries.
