Theresa Ann Street, 57, of Guttenberg, died Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque.

Visitation was Sunday, June 14, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Funeral services were Monday, June 15, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Shane Anderson.

Interment was at Guttenberg City Cemetery.

Theresa was born on June 5, 1958, in Denison to Marvin and Mary (Emge) Mefferd.

Theresa received her education from the Woodbine School and over the course of many years, owned and operated several businesses. Theresa was united in marriage with Brian Street and for the last eight years, they owned and operated the Eagle View Motel in Guttenberg. Theresa enjoyed working with her flowers, spending time with family and friends and always felt at peace out in nature. Theresa also adored her dog Bella.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Brian; father, Marvin Mefferd; three children, Mark, Amanda and Mellissa; one step daughter, Nicole Street; four grandchildren; seven siblings, Beverly Wagner, Guy Mefferd, Colleen Lembke, Vivian Williams, Michelle Rains, Veronica Nelson, Lois Stockton; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

In lieu of flowers and all styles of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established for Theresa and donations can be sent to 115 Acre St., Guttenberg, IA 52052.
