Mary Jane Eulberg, age 87, of Anamosa, formerly of Garnavillo, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa.

Visitation was one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Garnavillo, conducted by Rev. Marvin Bries.

Interment was at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Garnavillo.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo.

Mary was born on Sept. 4, 1927, in Petersburg, the daughter of Frank and Hilda (Bockenstedt) Fangman.

Mary received her education locally and spent many years working for Ertl Toy Company, G&G, as well as caring for nine children. Mary had many interests but spending time with her family was her greatest joy. She shared a very special relationship with her great granddaughter Morgan. 

Those left to cherish Mary’s memory are her nine children, Marcus (Ellen) Eulberg, Matthew (Diana) Eulberg, Jason (Kristina) Eulberg, Theodore (Sharon) Berns, Michael Berns, Ann (Dan) Fountain, Richard (Debra) Berns, Jane (Jeff) Scherf and Christopher (Shirley) Berns; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; six siblings, Francis, Vernice, Bernard, Vincent, Ted, Jerry and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Cyril Berns and Roy Eulberg; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie J. Ward; four siblings, Estella, James, Bernadette and Juanita.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the staff at Jones Regional Medical Center for the exceptional care provided to Mary and her family during her final days.
