Five candidates have declared for four vacancies on the Clayton Ridge School Board in the upcoming election on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The field includes two incumbents, Christine Aulwes and John Heying, along with Sharon Cunningham, Alicia Helle and Ellen S. Johnson.

The deadline to file nomination papers was July 30. Current board members who did not seek reelection were Dr. Jeff Hoffmann and Janice Andregg. School board members are elected to serve four-year terms, with elections taking place in odd-numbered years.

Candidates interviews will be published in the Aug. 26 issue of The Press.
