Samson was the son of Scott and Kelli (Kaderly) Boylen. He was born Feb. 20, 2001.

He enjoyed reading, video games, fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed many sports, especially soccer. Samson was awesome with younger children, especially his cousin Mabel. He had a kind heart and a tender soul. Many appreciated his great sense of humor and quick wit.

From the time he was old enough to grasp the idea of growing up, he choose future careers he thought would benefit others, such as explorer, inventor and most recently astronaut.

He was a freshman at MFL MarMac High School and excelled in many of his classes. This past summer he got his first job at Prairie Funland and saved every penny to buy a PS4 gaming system.

Last June he traveled to Canada fishing with his “Grandpa Sam” and he went to Washington D.C. along with other MFL MarMac students, and his dad as one of the chaperones.

He is survived by his parents; sister Ayla at home; grandparents Sam and Janet Kaderly of Juda, Wis. and Larry and Sharon Boylen of Prairie du Chien; aunts and uncles Tina and Kurt Jordan, Kurt, Jeff and Brent Boylen; and eight cousins.

The family requests no flowers or gifts. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Samson Boylen Scholarship Fund or the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien.
