Letters to Santa - All I want for Christmas. . . .

 

For several years, the Register’s holiday tradition has been to share letters to Santa written by young Central students. This year, students in the three combined second/third grade classes participated. Their letters are published here just as we received them. We made no attempt to edit, correct or censor.

We hope you enjoy these letters as much as we did. Many thanks to the students and their teachers for continuing this tradition.

Dear Santa,

How is Mrs. Claus? Can you bring my cousin Taylor a baby doll? My cousin Drake would like a new sippy cup. May I please have my own make-up set? My favorite Christmas memory is when Paisley open gifts. She was funny.

My name is Ella. I love my adorable dogs, Leo and Charlie. So for Christmas I would like it if you brought Leo some brand new toys. I think Charlie would like a new collar. I know they would both love a special treat brand called greenies. I thought about it long and hard and I decided what I want for Christmas is for everybody to be happy. (p.s. I also want a real orange cat and a real white cat) I love sledding! Once I was sledding at a friend’s house and me and her sledded right into cockleburs! It got in my hair.

Last Christmas when I was sledding down the hill by St. Joe’s I fell off the sled because I was going too fact.

How are the elves? Is Mrs. Claus happy? I hope so because I am in a happy mood today even though my mom has to work on Christmas day and night. This is what I want you to get for my teacher Mrs. Gibney a warm hat and a pair of warm gloves so her head and hands will not get cold. There is the one special thing that I want for Christmas. It is an ice cream maker so I can make my mom a special treat when she is sick.  I remember the time on Christmas day you got my little brother a ball house. It was funny when he got it open. I really did like the Barbie dolls you got me. I had a lot of fun playing with them. My sister liked all of the things in her stocking. My big brother liked his nerf guns a lot.
