Two local men arrested in marijuana bust

On Tuesday, Dec. 22, the Prairie du Chien Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at 217 N. Illinois Street in the city of Prairie du Chien. The search warrant was a result of a lengthy narcotics investigation by the Police Department and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.

As a result of the search warrant, Matthew Neeley, 41, of Prairie du Chien, and Tracy Neeley, 43, of Prairie du Chien were arrested and placed in the Crawford County Jail.

The police department is seeking charges with the Crawford County District Attorney’s Office for Matthew Neeley for delivery of marijuana, possession with the intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges will also be pursued on Tracy Neeley for delivery of marijuana party to the crime, possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additional charges will be sought due to the close proximity of the residence to a city park.

The investigation continues and additional arrests may be forthcoming.
