Shirley M. Greene, 80, of Janesville, died Sunday, April 10, at Huntington Place. 

She was born on Nov. 29, 1935 in Eastman, the daughter of John and Carrie (Stluka) Osthoff. Shirley enjoyed playing the coronet in the band at Seneca High School, from which she graduated in 1953. She was employed at GMAD, retiring in 2003. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending many happy times with her grandchildren. 

Shirley is survived by three children, Susan Kelleher (EJ Bowman) of Hayward, Calif., Douglas (Sandra) Greene of Littleton, Colo. and Scott (Linda) Greene of Janesville; four grandchildren Logan, Colby, Austin and Ashley; three siblings, Sharon (Richard) Crane of Tigerton, Diane (Ronald) Lawrence of Eastman, and Sandra (Daniel) Turban of Soldiers Grove; and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Heather Kelleher; son-in-law, Greg Kelleher; sister, Bonnie Osthoff; an infant child, Mary Jo; and a niece Christina (Lawrence) West.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, with Rev Paul Speerbrecker presiding. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
