Randi Louise Harris, 65 of Postville, died Monday, April 11, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa after a brief illness. 

Randi was born on Feb. 2, 1951 to Leo Roger and Lillian Irene (Monson) Harris in Postville. She graduated from Postville High school, attended the University of Northern Iowa and received her nursing degree at Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar, Iowa.

Randi worked for Catholic Charities in Prairie du Chien as a domestic abuse advocate. She had a zest for life, she loved horses, journaling, reading, calligraphy, dancing and spending time with family, especially her great-niece and great-nephews. Randi treasured fashion, she had a vast shoe collection and loved turquoise jewelry. She was a very active volunteer at Strides, and other community organizations. Randi was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville where she was baptized and confirmed. 

Randi is survived by her boyfriend, Mark Lovick of Mason City, Iowa; two siblings, Carol Remmen of Postville, Iowa and Dave (Lynn VerHelst) Harris of Stoughton; nieces, Whitney (Brian) Harris Brimmer of Stoughton, and Chelsea Harris (Nate Hayes) of Madison; great- niece and great-nephews, Lillian, Leo and Kai Brimmer and lifelong friends, Sandy Ruckhaber of Luana, Julie Friday of Waverly, Iowa and Sandy Schumacher of Onalaska. 

Randi was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lillian Harris; and her brother-in-law, Steve Remmen.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Postville, with a one hour visitation before services at the church on Friday.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville, Iowa with Rev. Jack Gannett as the Officiant.
