The Prairie du Chien Lady Blackhawks defeated visiting Platteville 2-1 for their first win of the season in SWC softball action Thursday.

Rilee Wikan allowed just 4 hits to a tough Platteville team. She threw 7 innings, giving up just 1 run on 4 hits and striking out 6.

Lauren Kennedy and Rilee Wikan each drove in 1 run for the win. It was an amazing defensive outing for the Lady Hawks.

Prairie du Chien will next travel to Lancaster on April 25.
