Sagedahl continues
to garner baseball awards
Over the past couple of weeks, Chas Sagedahl has been recognized for his baseball talents.
He was named Southwest Wisconsin Conference Player of the Year.
Wisconsin is divided into six districts and Chas was named District 5 Player of the Year. Pitching stats: 8-2-2 record, .680 ERA, 61 2/3 innings, 35 hits, 11 walks, and 98 strikeouts.
Playing center field and first base, Chas finished the season with a .452 batting average.
Chas was then named to the Wisconsin High School Baseball All Star Classic South Team which features the top 72 high school seniors in the state. The All Star Classic is divided by regions into four teams: North (Green Bay/Fox Valley area), East (Milwaukee Metro area), West (La Crosse, Stevens Point, Eau Claire, Superior area), South (Madison area).
They will play a round robin format with one game on Friday, June 23 and two games Saturday, June 24 at the University of Oshkosh.
When the Spring Baseball All State Teams were announced, Chas was named Third Team All-State Pitcher.
Chas has committed to start his college career playing baseball for Southeastern Iowa Community College in West Burlington, which is in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.
