Clement F. Ryan, 75, of Box Elder, S.D., died on Dec. 18. 

 

He was born on Aug. 16, 1942, in Prairie du Chien, to Clement Ryan and Merle (Davis) Ryan.

 

Clem graduated from Prairie du Chien High School in 1960, and joined the U.S. Air Force in 1961. He married Janette Morley in England on April 16, 1966. Clem retired from the Air Force in 1987 after serving for 26 years at many locations throughout the U.S. and the world including Vietnam. After retirement from the Air Force, Clem obtained a bachelor’s degree from Black Hills State University and worked for Spiegels, Menards and other employers in the Rapid City area.

 

Clem is survived by his wife Janette of Box Elder, a son, Sgt. 1st Class Patrick Ryan of Ft. Eustis, Va.; a grandson Brady, of Rapid City; and a step-grandson David Wonsitler. He is also survived by a brother Patrick (Barbara) Ryan of Green Bay.

 

Clem was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Victoria Irene.

 

The arrangements are being made by Black Hills Funeral Home of Sturgis, S.D.
