Raymond L. Meyer, 73, died Feb. 4, 2018.

Services will be private at a later date.

Raymond was born Nov. 27, 1944, to Charles and Helen Meyer. He attended Guttenberg Community School and served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965. He was a welder at John Deere for 30 years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty; two children, Derrick (Kristi) Meyer, Niki (friend Brian) Abbott; three grandchildren, Riley Meyer, Ava Abbott, and Bridger Meyer; brother, Terry (Pat) Meyer; sisters, Jean Jones, Pat Burley, Sandy (Larry) Gansmer; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Donna) Balk, Dean (Mona) Balk, David (Kari) Balk, John (Karla) Eglseder and Jerry (Stormy) Eglseder; sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Chuck) Morarend and Judy Balk; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Camilla Eglseder; father-in-law, Julius Balk and step father-in-law, Navalle Eglesder; brothers-in-law, Harlan Balk, Paul Jones, Carl Burley and Sheldon Clark and one nephew, Jody Balk.
