Potosi man arrested for 7th OWI

On Feb. 17 at 12:39 a.m., a Grant County Sheriff’s Department deputy stopped a vehicle for operating left of center in the village of Potosi. 

The driver was identified as Nicholas J. Osterhaus, 46, Potosi. During contact with the driver, it was determined he had consumed alcohol and field sobriety tests were conducted. Nicholas was subsequently arrested for operating while intoxicated (seventh offense). Nicholas was also cited for operating after revocation, operating left of center and operating a vehicle without insurance. 

Nicholas was booked into the Grant County Jail for operating while intoxicated (seventh offense) and a probation hold.
