David Wayne Rolston, 75, of Bluffton, Ind., passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 17, 2018, at Markle Health and Rehabilitation. 

Visitation was Saturday, Feb. 24, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Bluffton, followed by a memorial service conducted by Pastor Jeremy Russell. 

Goodwin – Cale and Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton was in charge of arrangements.

David was born in Decatur, Ind., on Jan. 6, 1943, to Bert and Martha (Marbaugh) Rolston. David married Deanna (Thiese) Rolston in Bluffton on May 24, 1980; she survives. 

David was a 1961 graduate of Decatur High School, and briefly served in the U.S Navy until he was honorably discharged. He retired from Central Soya after almost forty years of service. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose 242 of Bluffton. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and especially taking vacations to Iowa to fish with his friends. 

Additional survivors include two sons, William Rolston and Rob Rolston, both of Bluffton; four grandchildren, Kyler, Brayden and Evan Rolston, and Dominic Noles.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Earl Rolston; an infant sister, Selma Rolston; and his mother and father-in-law, Betty and Bill Thiese. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
