Francis Jay White, 71, of Delta Junction, Alaska, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, at his home.

 

He was born May 20, 1946, to Virgil and Dorothy (Derby) White in Wisconsin.

 

He is survived by his children: Virginia, Jimmy and Rachel; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Joanne White; nieces Renee (David) Martin; Ronna (Mark) DuCharme, Ruth (Jim) Check-Gates; nephew Jay (Julie) White; special cousin, Sue (Bill) Lynch; a brother Jack White, of New Mexico; and many more nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Janice (Robert) Check; and a brother Jim White.

 

A celebration of Jay’s life was held Friday, March 2, in Alaska.
