Mary K. Stuckey, 61, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Saturday, April 7, at the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, after a brief illness. 

 

She was born Aug. 3, 1956, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of John and the late Marlene (Lagen) White. She married Harvey Stuckey on Aug. 2, 1986 at the United Methodist Church in Prairie du Chien. Mary worked at McDonalds and later for Prairie Industries. She also worked at the IOCO Station and later at Krachey’s BP for over 18 years. Mary was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Prairie du Chien. 

 

She is survived by her husband Harvey of 31 years, of Prairie du Chien; her children, Dan (Heather), Don (Toni) and Doug (Amy) Lenzendorf, all of Eastman, Molly Stuckey, of Prairie du Chien, Heath (Tina) Stuckey, of Guttenberg, Iowa, Kari (Jake) Koresh and Holden (Sara) Stuckey, both of Prairie du Chien; her father John (Sue) White, of Dubuque, Iowa; her brothers, John Joe White, of Texas, and Jim (Barb) White, of Florida; her sisters, Sue (Guy) Westemeyer, of Des Moines, Iowa, Teresa (Ron) Wintermote and Lynn (Rich) Thoma, both of Dubuque, Iowa; several step-brothers and sisters; her mother-in-law Janice Stuckey, of Prairie du Chien; nine grandchildren; three step grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a special friend Mollee Whyte. 

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, and her father-in-law Harlen Stuckey.

 

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 11,  at 11 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Prairie du Chien with Pastor Barb Cook officiating. A private family inurnment will be at a later date. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 10, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
