Blackhawk 

linksters take 

second at Fennimore

The Prairie du Chien Blackhawk golfers opened their 2018 season in a four-team nonconference match at Hickory Grove Country Club in Fennimore on Thursday, April 12. 

The Blackhawks took second place with a score of 198. Fennimore shot 182 to win the match, with Iowa Grant at 230 and Wonewoc 239.  

Sam Peterson of Prairie du Chien and Cole Needham, Fennimore, shared medalist honors with each shooting a 41 on the par 36 course. 

Other Blackhawk scores were Michael Maguire with a 45, Collin Seeley 56, Jack Peterson 56 and Hunter Domeier 69.
