Two women cited for retail theft
On Thursday, May 10, at 7:04 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department was called for a possible ongoing theft at Walmart, in the township of Bridgeport. It was reported that a white Nissan left the parking lot of Walmart and drove to Nathan Plaza and was possibly in possession of stolen property.
A Crawford County deputy made contact with the vehicle and its occupants. Sheena R. Slater, 26, Wauzeka and Trista Hernandez Cruz, 21, Wauzeka, both were found to be in possession of stolen property from Walmart. Items were identified by Walmart Asset Protection and returned to the store.
Citations were issued to both for retail theft and both Slater and Hernandez Cruz were told they were not allowed back on Walmart property.
The total amount of property stolen was $302.07.
