Jennifer A. Cull Lewis, 46, of Crystal Lake, Ill., and formerly of Prairie du Chien, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 19, at her home following a brief illness.

She was born Aug. 25, 1971, in Madison, the daughter of Bernard and Edith (North) Cull. She married Richard Lewis on May 4, 2003, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Jennifer worked at a veterinary hospital and was an animal activist. She especially loved dogs. She enjoyed her visits to Disneyland and Disney World. 

She is survived by her husband Richard, of Crystal Lake, Ill.; her twin children, Charles and Mattie Lewis; a stepson Jacob Lewis, of Blacksburg, Va.; her parents, Bernard Cull, of Mt. Hope, and Edith North, of Prairie du Chien; her sister Amy (Kelly) Wiens, of Taylor, Ariz.; along with her niece and nephew, Bobby and Ashley.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 25, at 11 a.m., at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Barb Cook officiating, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
