Darlene M. Dutka
Darlene Mae Dutka, 77, of Guttenberg, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at the Guttenberg Care Center.
Visitation was Tuesday, Oct. 9, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. Funeral service followed the visitation, conducted by Rev. Shane Anderson.
Inurnment was at Guttenberg City Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.
Darlene was born on July 30, 1941, on the family farm near Guttenberg, the daughter of Everd and Opal (Noack) Tuecke.
Darlene received her education at Guttenberg. On Aug. 2, 1958, she was united in marriage with Floyd Dutka at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. Together this union blessed the couple with five children. For many years Darlene made a home for her husband and children. She had a passion for crocheting, tending to her garden, and puzzle books.
Darlene is survived by her children, Shirley (Roger) Balk, Vern Dean Dutka, Floyd Kevin Dutka, and Cheryl Kay Dutka; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Louis (Velma) Tuecke, Esther Fehlhafer, and Everd Tuecke Jr. and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Mary Spiker; granddaughters, Melissa and Rosilie Dutka; siblings, Lorna Tuecke, Verla Bente, Donald and Delmer Tuecke.
