Mar-Mac tops River Ridge

MFL/Mar-Mac came from behind to narrowly defeat host River Ridge 46-44 in nonconference girls basketball Thursday on Parents’ Night.

The Timberwolves missed a chance to tie the game in the waning moments and fell to 10-2 on the season. Their only losses are to undefeated Mar-Mac and undefeated Prairie du Chien. 

River Ridge led 22-16 at the half and looked to be in control for most of the game, leading by 8 points late, before succumbing to Mar-Mac.

Taylor Langmeier netted 16 points and Skylar White added 15 to pace the Lady Timberwolves.

Bailey Winter scored a game-high 17 for Mar-Mac. Summer Schutte had 9.

River Ridge will next travel to Highland on Jan. 10.
