Ritchie to play in WBCA All Star Game
Gabby Ritchie of Prairie du Chien High School has been named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-Star Team. She will be a member of the South Team for Division 3.
It is an honor to be named as a participant in the WBCA All-Star games, because this event showcases seniors from each division who possess great talent and tremendous character. The WBCA All-Star games started back in 1978, and each year the purpose of these games is to raise funds to help fight against childhood cancer. Since 1978, the WBCA has donated more than $2.8 million to the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) in the effort to combat childhood cancer. When the games started, the success rate of saving a child with cancer was near 10 percent. Now, with the help of the WBCA All-Star games and many others, the success rate of saving a child is up close to 80 percent.

The Division 3 WBCA All-Star games will be played at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells on Friday, June 14 at 12:30 p.m.
