Burglaries reported along Ambro and at Winneshiek

Over this past weekend, June 8-9, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department received multiple reports of burglaries to cabins located on Ambro Road and to the Winneshiek Bar located on County K in Prairie du Chien Township. Entry was forcefully gained into the cabins and bar. Once entry was gained, property was damaged and miscellaneous items stolen. These belongings included firearms, alcohol, etc. 

The Crawford County Crime Stoppers urges anyone having information about this or any other crimes to call 326-8933 or (866) 779-PAYS. Anyone calling either of these numbers with a Crime Stoppers tip will remain anonymous and a reward of up to $1,000 will be paid for a tip that solves a crime with an arrest, charges being filed and/or recovery of stolen property.
