The Clayton Ridge Community School District board at its regular monthly meeting on Aug. 21  approved negotiation of an agreement with Guttenberg Municipal Hospital and Clinics for athletic trainer services.

The board authorized Superintendent Shane Wahls to negotiate a contract with GMHC for an amount not to exceed $6,500 with preferred services to include all home varsity events, home junior varsity football games and one weekly visit.

The board also discussed the roles of non-coaches on the sidelines at football games.
