Spencer DeHart maintains good form during the cross country meet against Dodge-Point Tuesday afternoon at La Riviere Park.

The Blackhawks’ Bryce Priebe cruises along on the first leg Tuesday at La Riviere Park.

The Prairie du Chien High School cross country team hosted Dodgeville-Mineral Point at La Riviere Park Tuesday afternoon in SWC action.

Boys:

The cross country team went up against a very tough Dodge/Point team. Spencer DeHart led the way with a fantastic 4th place finish and a time of 19:36. Lee Steiger just keeps on a truckin’ as he pounded out back to back PRs and ended his evening in 6th place with 20:54. Max Anthony popped a 10th place and ended with 21:23 while Bryce Priebe ended in 15th (27:23) and Isaac Mara in 16th with a 27.33.

Girls:

The girls had a nice evening as Meg Katzung finished in first place with 22:11 and Karly Jaynes finished in 2nd place with a 22:16. Ava Hager had another nice night with back to back PRs and finished in 4th place with a 22:24 while Ella Hager finished in 8th place with a 23:13. Teagan Radloff pounded out a 10th place with a PR 24:04, Eowyn Earle nailed down 11th place with 24:27, and Jadyn Jenks cemented a 12th place finish with 24:38. Cruising right behind was Shayla Straka and a new PR 25:01 with 14th place. Payton Key finished in 17th with 26:37 and Sadie Torgerson finished in 18th with 27:37. Kylee Rogers finished the night in 21st with a 32:06 and Carolina Herrera rounded out the field in 24th place with a 38:00.
