Candidates have filed for seats on the Guttenberg city council, Guttenberg hospital board and Clayton Ridge Community School for elections to be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The deadline for filing was Thursday, Sept. 19. This year marks the first year that Iowa residents will vote for both municipal and school offices on the same day; previously school elections were held in September and municipal elections in November.

Following are the candidates whose names will appear on the ballot.

Guttenberg city council: There are three candidates for two open positions: Jane Parker, Austin Greve and Dennis Roth. Parker and Greve are incumbents. Terms are for four years.

Guttenberg hospital trustee: There are three candidates for three seats: Janice Andregg, Bill Allyn and Karen Merrick. All are incumbents. Terms are for four years.

Clayton Ridge School Board: There are five candidates for four positions: John Heying, Alicia Helle, Ellen Johnson, Dennis Roth and Christine Aulwes. All are incumbents with the exception of Roth.
