Lylina Ann (Robbins) Dittmer, 44, of Elkader, IA, died Friday, October 18, 2019, at MercyOne, in Elkader. She was born February 22, 1975, to Lyle R. Robbins, Sr. of Anita, IA, and Gloria A. Robbins of Elkader.

Lylina attended school at Central Community School of Elkader and graduated in 1993. Lylina attended and graduated Kirkwood Community College 1995, with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and Media.

She was united in marriage to Douglas John Dittmer on September 23, 1995, at Peace United Church of Christ in Elkader. They have one daughter, Erin Jo Dittmer, an 8th grader at Central Community School.

Lylina worked at Elkader Care Center for 10 years and RISE Group Home for 10 years along with being an EMT for MercyOne for 15 years. Lylina was dedicated to her EMT service, helping at extra times whenever needed, and many extra hours working on the nursing floor of the hospital.

She enjoyed camping, car cruises, photography, crocheting and attending the local fairs. Lylina was always helping others and enjoyed being with family and friends. She also enjoyed Mud Bogs. Lylina was a member of the Girl Scouts from Brownie to Cadet.

Lylina is survived by her husband, Douglas John Dittmer, and daughter, Erin Jo of Elkader; father, Lyle R. Robbins, Sr. (Val) of Anita, IA; mother, Gloria Ann Robbins (Harry Sr) of Elkader; one brother, Lyle R. Robbins Jr (Stacy) of Jefferson; nephew Luke; nieces, Natalie and Alyssa Robbins of Jefferson; step-sisters, Angel (Jerry) Richards of Creston, and B.J. Kinzie of Creston; step-brothers Chuck (Andi) Kinzie of Anita, Donnie (Kim) Kinzie of Stuart, mother-in-law, Darlene Dittmer of Elkader; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Kevin) Ihde of Farmersburg and Jan (John) Garms of Elkader; Uncle Harry W. Robbins, Jr. (Paulette) of Chaney, WA, Aunt Sadie Robbins of Antioch, CA, Aunt Bonnie Stifel of Postville, Uncle Lavern (Carol) Gibbs of Cedar Rapids, Uncle Melvin (Barb) Gibbs of Waterloo and Aunt Lorraine LaGrange of Cedar Rapids and numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glen and Violet Gibbs, John and Gladys Robbins, Clair and Carol Phelps; Uncles John Paul Robbins and his son Cheyenne and William Crane.

A visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Peace United Church of Christ, Elkader and one hour before the service on Monday. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Peace United Church of Christ, Elkader, with Rev. Jon Haack officiating. Interment followed at Mederville Cemetery
