Arlene (Rodas) Halvorson, 93, of Eagan, Minn, passed away on Nov. 15, 2019.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 21, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Eagan, Minn. Gathering of Family and Friends will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Arlene was born in Guttenberg on July 31, 1926, to John and Emilie (Schuette) Rodas.

She is survived by her children, Timothy (Mary), Lynn (Chris) Niemeyer, and Beth (Steve) Nelson; grandchildren, Ross (Jamie) Halvorson, Laura (Jeremiah) Jary, Mark Halvorson, Julie (Aaron) McCullough, Jean (Jamie) Holets, Kate (Dan) Schneider, and Sean (Meagan) Nelson; great-grandchildren, Cali, Camille, McKenzy, Troy, Quinn, Clay, Tristan and Casper; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alger; parents; sister; and brothers.

Thank you to the staff of Augustana Regent at Burnsville and Fairview Hospice for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. The family will be making donations to Arlene’s favorite charities.
