Randy Ludvik (top) and Rich Stovey help to string up Christmas tree lights on a flag pole at the south end of Lawler Park Tuesday afternoon. Street Superintendent Dan Titlbach said the department is continuing its tradition of making everyone’s spirits brighter for the holiday season by putting up the lights. It is the first time a Christmas tree of lights has been put up at this location. The other tree of lights was put up recently in the middle of the Marquette Road and Blackhawk Avenue roundabout. “The Public Works Department would also like to thank Novey Construction for the use of their Skytrak lull,” said Titlbach, who noted there are 3,600 multi-colored lights on the new tree.
