After Travel Health Precautions
The Crawford County Health Department has released a list of "After Travel Health Precautions" they wish shared with the public, to help slow the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the U.S. Please follow guidance from the CDC if traveling back home from countries that are having widespread, ongoing transmission of COVID-19, which have been identified as Level 3 Travel Health Notice countries such as China, Japan, Iran, Italy, and South Korea:
- Stay home and avoid contact with others for 14 days. Do not go to work or school for this 14-day period. Discuss your work situation with your employer before returning to work.
- Practice social distancing.
- Take your temperature with a thermometer two times a day and monitor for fever. Also, watch for cough or trouble breathing.
- Do not use public transportation such as cabs and ride-shares.
- Avoid crowded places (such as shopping centers and movie theaters) and limit your activities in public.
- Keep your distance from others (about 6 feet).
