Owen Harbaugh, 72, of Guttenberg, died Thursday, March 26, 2020, at home surrounded by his family.

A memorial service planned for a future date will be announced.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Owen was born July 16, 1947, to Charles “Willis” and Goldie Harbaugh on the home farm near Colesburg. He was one of four children. He attended Guttenberg High School and graduated in 1966. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany.

Over the years Owen enjoyed fishing, hunting, coin collecting, going to auctions, and attending birthday parties for the little ones. He worked various jobs, some including Hilton Homes, Trademark, Double L, Kann’s, and Henderson. He was always quite the handy man when it came to carpentry work.

Owen is survived by his brother, Curt Harbaugh of Colesburg; many nieces; nephews; relatives and friends; along with his beloved cat, Tucker.

Owen was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Harbaugh; sister, Phyllis White; sister-in-law, Charlene Harbaugh and brother-in-law, Robert White.

The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for the wonderful care that Owen received from their staff.

In lieu of any style of sympathy, the family requests memorials to benefit either Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, St Croix Hospice, Bethel Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
