Local man arrested after search for meth items
On Sept. 2, at 3 p.m., officers from the Prairie du Chien Police Department conducted a search at 119 North Prairie Street. Officers had received information about possible methamphetamine manufacturing occurring at that location.
Upon the search of the residence, items associated with the manufacturing and use of methamphetamine were located.
As a result of the search, Christopher Marshall, 41, Prairie du Chien, was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail.
Possible charges may include possession of methamphetamine waste, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violations.
The owner of the residence will also be cited under Prairie du Chien Municipal Code for cleanup of clandestine drug labs.
