Gayle J. McIntosh, 82, of Prairie du Chien passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien 

Gayle was born Jan. 10, 1938, in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Theodore and Ruby (Miller) Kedl. She married Lewis “Pie” Mac McIntosh on June 27, 1959, at the United Methodist Church in Prairie du Chien. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2020. She worked at Prairie City Bank and later for the Prairie Spy and Courier Press newspapers.

She is survived by her sons, Todd (Stephanie) and Thad (Ruth); her grandchildren, Gayla (Aaron) Waddy, Kylie (Neil) Gross, and Devin (Emily); her great-grandchildren, Audrey, Aaron Jr., Kayla, Hadley, Harlow and Henli. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Mac; and her parents.

A graveside service is being planned for a later date at the Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie du Chien. The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, is assisting the family.
