Vivian M. Bartz, 78, of Bridgeport, passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, following a brief illness. 

She was born Oct. 7, 1942 in Eastman, the daughter of Edward and Elsie (Stluka) Wall. Vivian married Michael Bartz on April 18, 1964, in Elm Grove. She worked as a bookkeeper for a nursing facility and later for a real estate property management company. Vivian was a talented seamstress. Michael later preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2018. 

Vivian is survived by her son Michael (Michele) Bartz; and her sister, Carol (Rex) Johnston. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, John; and her brother, John Wall. 

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, Pastor Miranda Klosterboer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
