Morris Christopher Bauer, 74, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020, after battling heart and lung issues.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo.  

Morris was born March 5, 1946, the son of Christopher and Rose (Hildebrand) Bauer.

Morris was drafted and served two years in the Army in Vietnam.  He liked to fish and hunt and farmed with his brother on the family farm.  Morris married Marcee Hebrink on June 21, 1986, at the Guttenberg United Methodist Church by Rev. Wayne Wasta. 

Morris is survived by his wife, Marcee; sister, Jannan; brother Ronnie and several cousins and special friends. 

Morris was preceded in death by his parents and aunts and uncles.
