Ronald A. Radloff, 84, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at home surrounded by his family. 

He was born June 3, 1936, in Eastman, the son of Fay and Lillian (Thomas) Radloff. He attended Prairie du Chien High School and graduated in 1953. He then served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1956. Following his military service, he attended evening classes at the Milwaukee Institute of Technology, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for electrical engineering. He held various positions in the General Motors Corporation in Milwaukee, and Little Rock, Ark., specifically in the AC Spark Plug Division. These positions included skills training personnel instructor and field service electronics technician, helping in the creation and development of electronic guidance systems used in the Titan II ICBM and later in the Apollo Spacecraft programs. He also held production and maintenance supervisory positions with two national corporations located in southwest Wisconsin. He worked at 3M Corporation in Prairie du Chien as senior technician engineer in the maintenance division until retirement in 1996. He served on the Township Board for 19 years. 

He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ron was an avid Packers fan and season ticket holder since 1960. He was also an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janice; his children, Reginald (Beth) Radloff of Worthington, Minn., Renee (Scott) Feye of Eastman, and Robin Radloff (Ciaran Breen, Dublin, Ireland) of Madison; his grandchildren, Lindsey (Alex) McGraw of Worthington, Minn., Bradley (Stephanie) Feye of Eastman, Ryan (Martha) Radloff of Worthington, Minn., and Jamie Feye of Eastman; his great-grandchildren Liam and Lillian McGraw, Matthew and Anthony Feye, Eidiana Radloff, and Gavin Bunders. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, LeRoy Radloff, Gladys Hare, Clyde Radloff, June Sorenson and Roger Radloff. 

Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 8, at the United Methodist Church, Pastor Barb Cook officiated, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien. Military Honors were accorded by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard. For online condolences, visit www.garrityfuneralhome.com.
