Leila Hefel, 72, of Holy Cross, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Due to COVID restrictions there will be a private family mass.

Graveside committal services were Monday Dec. 7, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in North Buena Vista.

Services were Nov. 18, in Houston. Burial was in Veteran’s Cemetery, Houston.

Mark was born Nov. 30, 1951, in Prairie du Chien,Wis., the son of Bob and Iris Dohse.

Jerry Allen Hansel, 68, of Guttenberg, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital in Guttenberg.

A private family graveside service will be held at Hansel Cemetery in rural Garber.

Jerry was born on Oct. 11, 1952, in Edgewood, the son of Donald and Mildred (Jones) Hansel.

Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 4, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Garnavillo, conducted by Pastor Gary Hatcher.

Ronald Jon Nuehring, 81, of Guttenberg passed away on Saturday Nov. 14, 2020.

Per Ronnie’s request in lieu of a formal funeral service, a celebration of life will be held at a future date.

Honorary pallbearers were Clay Nuehring, Bubby Nuehring, Kyle Nuehring, Cory Nuehring, Johnny Lee Kolker, Jim Ulbrich, Jon Ulbrich, Timmy Andregg, Shawn Boeke, Chad Willenborg and Bucky Loeffelholz.

Rev. Lloyd Paul Ouderkirk, 87, of Dubuque, passed away at 12:48 a.m., on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, at Stonehill Care Center.

Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 3, at St. John the Baptist Church, Peosta. Visitation was before services at the church.

Burial was at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Centralia.
