Lyle D. Sargent

Lyle Duane Sargent, 82, of Guttenberg, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, July 15, 2022.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg where the family will receive friends from 3 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 20. Visitation will continue prior to funeral services at 9 a.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg.

Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg at 10 a.m., on Thursday, July 21.

Heath Harvey Stuckey, 33, of Guttenberg, died Monday, June 27, 2022, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. 

Visitation was Tuesday, July 5, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg. 

There will be a private family funeral service and inurnment at a later date.

Sue Semone Villa

Sue Semone Ludvik Villa, 50, of Guttenberg, died Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Care Initiatives in Dubuque after a courageous battle of many medical issues over the last year.

Visitation was Saturday, June 25, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg. 

Graveside services followed the visitation at the Guttenberg City Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Andy Doll.

Steve Beaumont

Steve Beaumont, 81, formerly of Garber and Iowa City, died Friday, June 16, 2022, at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home, where he had been a resident since 2019.

There will be a private memorial service and celebration of Steve’s life.

Steve grew up in Council Bluffs. He attended Grinnell College, then earned a PhD in history from the University of Wisconsin. He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Burial with military rites was at Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, rural Farmersburg.
