Family will be holding a private graveside service with burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A public memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joyce was born on Dec. 22, 1945, the daughter of Vernon and Martha (Gull) Horstman.

Daniel Leo Westemeier, 76, of Dubuque, died Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at the Unity Point Health-Finley Hospital in Dubuque.

Our dear husband, father, and grandfather deserves a beautiful tribute. However, in this unknown time with COVID-19 pandemic, having a public visitation is not possible. Please be with us in prayer. A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at a later date. 

Burial was in Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque.

With great sadness we announce the death of Leroy “Doug” Wachendorf, 60, on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at his home with loved ones by his side.

A celebration of Doug’s life will be held for his family and friends at a later time, when it is safe to do so.

Doug was born in Guttenberg, on Nov. 3, 1959, the son of Roy and Hedda Wachendorf.

The soul of Isabella Rose Auer, 17, was called home to Jesus on April 28, 2020, after courageously battling DIPG, a terminal brain cancer, for almost one year. Isabella offered her sufferings and carried her cross with humble quietness, grace, and dignity. Just hours before passing she was Anointed and given the Apostolic Pardon.

Rev. Monsignor John Robert McClean, 87, of Dubuque, died Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at UnityPoint Finley Hospital in Dubuque.

Msgr. McClean deserves a beautiful tribute. However, in this unknown time with the COVID-19 pandemic, having a public visitation is not possible. Please be with us in prayer. 

The Mass of Christian Burial for Msgr. McClean will be Saturday, May 2, at Church of the Resurrection celebrated by Archbishop Michael Jackels and priests of the Archdiocese of Dubuque.
