Thomas Allan Kerper was born on August 11, 1956, in Dubuque, IA, the son of James Charles and Kathleen Meta (Langel) Kerper. He was baptized, received his first communion, served mass, sang in the choir, and was confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Vienna.
Allen Lee Moore, 72 of Prairie du Chien, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 26, 2023, at his home in Prairie du Chien. He was born Feb. 5, 1951, the son of Alva L. and Evelyn May (Roberts) Moore. Allen graduated from Barneston High School with the class of 1969 before attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he achieved his bachelor’s degree. A loyal Cornhuskers fan his entire life but known best as a Packer fan.
Wayne B. Mitchell, 82 of Prairie du Chien passed away Aug. 26, 2023, at Crossing Rivers Health surrounded by family. He was born Nov. 3, 1940, to Dorothea (Bily) Mitchell.
Wayne married Charlotte “Chotty” Mitchell, who preceded him in death in 1986.
