Bulldogs place first or second in 13 events at Kee High Invitational

The Bulldogs placed either first or second in all seven relays at Kee. Izayah Streicher (left) and Jacob Schellhorn were part of the team’s 4x800 first place squad.

Cullen McShane’s throw of 44 feet, 7 inches placed him first in the shot put.

Cyrus Johnson grabs the baton from Rylee Kugel in the 800 sprint medley relay.

Wyatt Powell led off the 1600 distance medley for MFL MarMac.

Kaden Stocker took first in the high jump with a height of 5 feet, 6 inches

The Bulldogs placed second in the distance medley relay. Cyrus Johnson and Caleb Nordheim made up two of the legs.

MFL MarMac girls track and field competes at Crestwood, Kee meets

Jordyn Jones completed a shot put throw of 21 feet, 10.5 inches at Kee, which was good for 10th place.

Hannah Bogdonovich ran a leg of three Bulldog relays at Kee, including the sprint medley, distance medley and 4x200.

Melanie Ruff raced her way to eighth place in the 100 meter dash at last week's Kee Invitational.

Abby Schellhorn ran the final leg of MFL MarMac's 4x400 relay that finished third at Kee.

Aly Feickert competed in both the discus and shot put in the West Delaware meet.

Thanks to a third place finish in the 400, Jaydin Dettman was Central’s top point-getter in last week’s meet at West Delaware.

Lexi Loan launched her way to ninth place in the long jump at West Delaware.

Coral Rork represented Central in the 1500 meter run at West Delaware.

Kaitlyn Wiley and Taylor Moser made up two legs of Central's shuttle hurdle relay team.

Joe Grau was the meet runner up against West Central and medalist at Clayton Ridge, continuing a successful start to the golf season.

Sawyer Keehner and the Bulldogs defeated West Central in an April 19 meet at Tri City Golf Course.

Anna Mae Rothmeyer

Anna Mae (Grady) Rothmeyer, 92, of Monona, passed away at Good Samaritan Society, Postville, on April 13, 2022. Anna Mae was born Oct. 11, 1929, in Monona, to Edward and Mayme (Geraghty) Grady. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Monona. She attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School through the eighth grade and graduated from Monona High School in 1947.

Steven E. Tyer

Steven Earl Tyer, 66, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, following a courageous battle with heart disease. He was born June 14, 1955, at Galesburg, Ill., to Leo Earl and Jeanne Audrey (Pople) Tyer.
