Winifred F. "Winnie" Fassbinder, 84, of Guttenberg, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.

Visitation was before services at the church.

Funeral services were Friday, March 20, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Marvin Bries.

Interment was at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Guttenberg.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Winnie was born the daughter of Lewis and Hilda (Felder) Carrier, Jan. 22, 1931, in Guttenberg.

Winifred graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School and was a homemaker for many years. On March 2, 1952, she was united in marriage with Henry R. Fassbinder in Wichita Falls, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren and especially the Friday nights with family.

Those left to cherish her memory, one daughter, Julie (Steve) Zittergruen; four sons, Henry Lee (Sandra) Fassbinder, James (Michelle) Fassbinder, Dennis (Brenda) Fassbinder, and Tom (Sue) Fassbinder; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Laura Heying; one brother, Danny (Rita) Carrier; three sisters-in-law, Jaleen Fassbinder, Carolyn Carrier, and Kathleen Bockenstedt, one brother-in-law, Ray Kleinow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Roger Dean in infancy; two sisters, Patricia and Sister Mary Ann Carrier; one brother, Jerome Carrier and one son-in-law, Tom Sadewasser.
