Rebecca Jean White, 71, of rural St. Olaf, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 28, at the Central Community Hospital, Elkader, Iowa surrounded by her loving family. 

Rebecca Jean was born on Oct. 5, 1943 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Leslie and Ramona (Holloway) Lange. She graduated from Mar-Mac High School in McGregor, Iowa. 

Becky was united in marriage with Arlis Glen White on May 16, 1964, to this union five children were born. Together they lived in rural St. Olaf on the family farm until her death.

Becky was a hard working farm wife and also worked at Edwards in Prairie du Chien, Valhalla Supper Club in Clermont, Iowa, Postville Bakery, Dura and most recently Monona Wire. While raising their children, she was very active with the Norway Lutheran Church. Rebecca enjoyed bowling and was a wonderful cook, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Becky is survived by her husband, Arlis White of St. Olaf, Iowa; children, Darci (Matt) Colsch of Monona, Darlis Hendry of Postville, Russell (Sara) White of Clermont, and Arlis Jr. (Heather) White of Luana; grandchildren, Matthew D. Colsch, Ashley (Ross Wilson) Colsch, Christopher (Aleesa Guyer) Colsch, Meshia, Shaunaye and Jaleasah Hendry, Kennedy, Isabelle and Lauren White and Kayleigh, Ella and Cori White; great- grandson, Carter Matthew Colsch; her sisters and brothers; sisters-in-laws; brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

Becky was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Sue White; her parents, Leslie and Ramona Lange; her sister, Helen Drahn Loveland; her brother, Larry Leslie Lange; two sisters who died in infancy, Ramona Lange and Deborah Denise Lange; mother and father-in-law, Russell and Clara White; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Marilee Bote and sister-in-law, Jeleen Hutchcroft.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, , from 4-8 pm at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Monona, Iowa, and one hour before services at the church on Saturday.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 2:00 pm at the Norway Lutheran Church in St. Olaf, Iowa.

Burial will follow at Norway Lutheran Church Cemetery, St. Olaf, Iowa.
