Joyce Lynn Engelhardt, 59, of Elkader, died December 5, 2015, at University Hospital in Iowa City. She was born in McGregor, on December 15, 1955, to Alan and Betty (Livingston) Engelhardt.

Joyce liked going to Rise and being with all of her friends there. She enjoyed music, listening to her records, going to the county fair, Johnson’s Restaurant and the shopping trips to Prairie du Chien, WI.

She is survived by her niece, Christine (Mark) Berns, her nephew, James Grocholski and sons, numerous aunts, cousins and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Betty; sister, Marsha and brother, Mark.

Visitation was from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
