Terry Vincent “TC” Clements, 64, passed away at his home in Sparta, on Wednesday, March 30, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born April 17, 1951, in Prairie du Chien to Paul and Helen (McCauley) Clements.

Terry was a very hard worker. Starting in 1969 when he graduated from Prairie du Chien High School, he always had a project that needed to be done. He started working at 3M in Prairie du Chien in 1970, and thereafter retired in 1999. Terry then moved to La Crosse, and became a self-employed contractor.

He is survived by his three daughters from his first marriage to Shirley Long, Angela (Brandon) Yarbrough, Rachel (Terry) Gerke, and Jami (Tim) Gerke; as well as their seven grandchildren Devin, Payton, Paige, Emma, Gracie, Grant, and Parker. On a blind date in 1998, Terry met the love of his life, Trish Adams. On April 24, 2004, she became his wife. She survives, as does her two daughters, Julie (Shane) Smith and Joni (Jason) Krepline; as well as seven more grandchildren, Skylar, Cody, Whitney, Sierra, Jacob, Kadie and Luke. He is also survived by his brother, Paul (Tina) Clements; sisters Cathy Rowley, Peggy Messerli, and Becky (Gary) Wilkinson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Ron Clements and other great friends and family members, including a very special cousin Tom. Surely that will be enough for a good card game.

Terry was a simple man, who loved his family, Menards, and had a desire to help others, and enjoyed the little things in life! He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends; including our great neighbors, Friday Night fish group, and Packer party crew. Nothing will be the same without you. Rest in peace and until we see you again.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Zone (9929 State Hwy. 21, Sparta, WI) on April 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A special thank you to Hospice Touch, Tomah (Nikki, RN), Gundersen Lutheran Oncology (Dr. Bodvarsson), Cancer Treatment Center of America and Coulee Region Cremation Group.

In lieu of flowers and memorials, donations can be made to Sparta Area Cancer Support (SACS). Mail donation in Terry’s name to Sparta Area Cancer Support Inc., P.O. Box 130, Sparta, WI 54656
