Colleen M. Anderson, 66, of Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Patch Grove, passed away on Monday, May 16, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

She was born on Dec. 23, 1949, in Boscobel, the daughter of Leo and Dorothy (Stadele) Lester. Colleen attended West Grant High School. She furthered her education at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Fennimore and obtained a degree in Marketing. Colleen was employed at Wellington Place at Biron, Wisconsin Rapids. On Sept. 22, 1984, she was united in marriage to David Anderson at Wyalusing State Park, Bagley. After their marriage, Colleen enjoyed traveling and was an avid quilter.

Survivors include her loving husband, David; three children Lisa Pitzer, Boscobel; Bryan Breuer, Denver, Colo., Lacey Anderson, Englewood, Colo; three stepchildren Kevin Anderson, Drumore, Pa.; Kirk Anderson, Conifer, Colo., Kory Anderson, Portage. Colleen also had seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings include Michael, Middleton, John, Farina, Ill., Greg, Charlotte, N.C., Donavon, Gays Mills, Joe, Seligman, Mo., Kenny, Boscobel, Richard Boscobel, Brendon, Mt. Hope; four sisters, Trudi Finney, Prairie du Chien, Janice Kirshbaum, Mt.Hope, Theresa Kieler, West Burlington, Iowa, Anna Marie Lester, Madison.

In addition to her father and mother, Colleen was preceded in death by a son, Eric Breuer and a sister, Susan Schmelling.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Bloomington. Private family graveside services will be held on Sunday, May 22, at Patch Grove Cemetery, Patch Grove with Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiating. Family and friends may call on Saturday, May 21, from 1 p.m. until time of services at the Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Bloomington.
