Judy Pohronezny, 57, of Prairie du Chien, passed away at her home in Prairie du Chien on Aug. 12. 

Judy Marie, the daughter of LeRoy and Patricia (Du Charme) Lenzendorf, was born Dec. 19, 1958 in Prairie du Chien. She graduated from Prairie du Chien High School in 1977 and then attended Capri College in Dubuque, Iowa. She later received an associate degree in accounting from W.C.T.C. in Pewaukee. Judy worked as a hairdresser for many years in Milwaukee. After receiving her degree, she worked as an accountant at Glass, Inc. in Sussex. First and foremost, Judy considered herself a homemaker. Raising her family was very important to her.

Judy enjoyed spending time in nature and taking walks with friends and family. Judy was attending Faith Evangelical Free Church in Prairie du Chien and had been a member of several Bible study groups.

Judy is survived by four children, Pamela Pohronezny of Hummelstown, Pa.; Valerie (Dave) Clouser of Highspire, Pa., Christine (Dean) Goodman of Prairie du Chien and Alex Pohronezny of Hummelstown, Pa.; four grandchildren, Dylan Goodman, Parker Clouser, Oliver Pohronezny-Wimmer, and Colin Clouser; her mother, Patricia Lenzendorf, of Prairie du Chien; three sisters, Karen (Tom) Cejka of Wadena, Iowa; Sue (Dan) Trausch of Eastman; and Linda (Lloyd) Reed of New Richmond; and one brother, Mark (Katie) Lenzendorf of Prairie du Chien.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy Lenzendorf and several aunts and uncles.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Faith Evangelical Free Church, Prairie du Chien.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, at Faith Evangelical Free Church, Prairie du Chien, with a dinner following the services.
