Ten minutes into the second half, Blake Garcia took a Hunter Domeier pass on the run and drove it in for a fifth Blackhawk score.

Prairie continued to control the ball until the 74th minute when Salam found a crease and scored.

Ben Teynor retaliated in the 80th minute driving from mid field and in for the score, his second and the team’s sixth.  The score 6-1 score stood till the 90 minute whistle.

The strong defense, led by Isaac Nichols, Blake Garcia, Ben Teynor and Anthony Irvine, with rotating support from Sam Peterson and Joey Gourdin, dominated the Stars’ offensive attacks throughout the game resulting in only two saves on the night by goalie Ryan Thein.
