Anita M. Bond
Anita M. Bond, 87, of Colesburg died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at her home.
Visitation and celebration of life was Saturday, Oct. 27, at the United Methodist Church in Colesburg.
Burial was at the Brown Cemetery in Colesburg.
Anita was born Feb. 9, 1931, at Elkport, the daughter of LeRoy and Laura (Willie) Hansel. She attended country school in Clayton County. On July 31, 1953, she was united in marriage to Virgil M. Bond in Earlville. Together they made their home in Colesburg.
She is survived by five children, Lititia, A.J., and Rozann Bond, all of Colesburg, Keevin (Vicki) Bond of Strawberry Point and Dana (Chris) Jenson of Colesburg; four grandchildren, Jennifer Herman of Nebraska, Brandy Seibert and Travis Bond of Manchester, and Tyler Herman of Colesburg; one step-granddaughter, April (Bob) Kruse, and her special grandchildren, Kaleb, Tanner and Kyrstin Payne; 13 great-grandchildren, Ivy, Delilah, Haley, Noah, Mariha, Jaela, Daveon, Kyler, Emmarie, Ryan, Cooper, Miles and Tucker; step-great-grandchildren, Summer, Trinity and Trevor; siblings, John (Norma) Latteyer of Shellsburg, Lonnie (Judy) Latteyer of Manchester, Fern (Garry) Moser of Guttenberg, Marlene Tumilty of Shellsburg, LaVonne Bush of Colesburg and Rita Latteyer of Las Vegas, Nev.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Richard; grandsons, David Herman and Dillon Bond; a step-grandson, Gary Ross; brothers and sisters, Carl (Rosie) Hansel, James (Delores) Hansel, Donald Hansel and Roland Latteyer; in-laws, Urey (Dorothy) Andregg, Lloyd (Doreen) Bond, Walter Bond, Roger Bush and Vernon Tumilty
